WELLBEING, for your whole being
There is so much noise around what it means to be well.
More routines. More optimisation. More things to fix, track and change about ourselves.
What Lives Within offers something a little different.
A slower, more intuitive approach to your health and happiness.
One that makes space for both the inner world of your emotions and the outer world of your physical body, and recognises that what supports you will look different depending on the weather within these worlds.
Through Reiki, mindfulness, movement, herbalism, and intentional everyday practices, I bring together these collective forms of support to meet you where you are. Not to create a new version of you, but to help you reconnect with the one already there.

Hi, I’m Lou…
Qualified Art Therapist, Yoga Teacher, Herbalist and Reiki Master
I believe wellbeing should feel like something we can actually sustain, not another standard we're constantly trying to meet.
My work brings together the modalities of herbalism, art therapy, Reiki, yoga and holistic wellbeing, alongside something much simpler: conversation, curiosity and learning to listen to ourselves again.
I created What Lives Within as a place to slow down when you need rest. To find support when something feels out of balance. To explore what's happening beneath the surface. And to build a relationship with your wellbeing that feels a little more like your own.
ways to work together
the deep reset ritual
A hands-on ritual for deep rest, combining Reiki, calming touch, breathwork and sensory grounding to create the conditions for your body and mind to soften into rest.
personalised wellbeing support
An ongoing, collaborative approach to caring for your wellbeing shaped around who you are, what you need and the life you're actually living.
Together, we explore simple, meaningful ways to support your emotional, physical and everyday wellbeing.
the whole-self method
For when you know you want to feel better but you don't know where to begin.
Maybe you've saved the routines. Bought the supplements. Tried to eat better, move more, meditate, journal, work on your mindset only to find yourself overwhelmed by everything you're supposedly meant to be doing to feel well.
The Whole-Self Method is a guided approach to wellbeing that brings the body, mind and inner self back into the same conversation.
